Terms and Cover
Subject to the terms and conditions declared below,

Heavy Component Specialists warrants to buyers that the parts, components and assemblies sold will, when properly assembled and installed on vehicles approved for such purpose, be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and maintenance for the applicable warranty period as described below.

1. All Products sold by Heavy Component Specialists are warranted by the manufacturers and or suppliers warranties and are only warranted to the extent of the manufacturers terms and conditions of warranty.

2. Heavy Component Specialists warrants that any repaired or re-manufactured items, purchased for use in a standard on highway application are guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for up to six months (6 months) from date of purchase unless otherwise specified.

3. Product purchased for specialised off-highway applications are guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three months (3 months) from date of purchase unless otherwise specified.

Heavy Component Specialists, at its own discretion, and only subject to inspection by Heavy Component Specialists will repair, replace or refund any failed Product during this period. Heavy Component Specialists liability, under this warranty, shall in any case not exceed the original Product purchase price.

The repaired or replaced Product shall be then warranted for the remaining term of the original warranty period.

Buyers Responsibilities
It is the buyers responsibility to inform Heavy Component Specialists of any problem or defect with any item purchased immediately. Any damage which occurs due to sustained use or operation after defect is evident, will not be covered.

Any instance of and or any combination, of, incorrect operation, incorrect adjustment, incorrect servicing or lack of, improper installation and or maintenance, lack of proper lubrication, accidents, abuse and or improper application/use and or continuous damage caused by another source, including shock load failure, will result in voiding warranty.

To make a warranty claim , it is the responsibility of the buyer to immediately contact Heavy Component Specialists providing the full claim details and proof of purchase.
Warranty repairs will be carried out at authorised repairers, this can be negotiated depending upon the location and nature of the warranty claim.

Limitations of warranty
Warranty coverage will only apply to the original buyer of the goods.

The repaired or replaced Product shall be warranted for the remaining term of the original warranty period.
Heavy Component Specialists parts warranty covers reimbursement or replacement of parts only.

The failed product must be returned to Heavy Component Specialists for inspection if required, within 14 days of the original warranty claim unless otherwise arranged.
Heavy Component Specialists will not be liable for any down time, freight, travel, towing, loss of profits or income, or any other expense other than the actual repair.
Should any part of this warranty coverage conflict with any applicable law, the law shall override that section, with the remainder Warranty Agreement to be left as originally declared.
